Cambodia

 “Nittetsu Mining (Cambodia) Ltd.”, a Cambodian subsidiary of Nittetsu Mining Co., Ltd., is operating Stung Treng copper exploration project at Stung Treng Province in Northern Cambodia (Fig.1). Nittetsu Mining (Cambodia) Ltd. concluded a 100% ownership exploration license with Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), Cambodia in April 2019.

 From 2014 to 2018, JOGMEC (Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation) conducted mineral exploration including of drilling survey (totally 13 holes with 4,330 m) jointly with MME and detected copper-lead-zinc mineralization in several areas. Nittetsu Mining Co., Ltd. was transferred the property from JOGMEC through the public offering.

 Mineralization is occurred mainly in Devonian-Carboniferous meta sediment and schist and crystalline limestone. The main target of the exploration is copper (-lead-zinc) deposits of skarn-type and its accompanying vein type.
